The cover sheet must include the following: ~ A title that identifies the name of the writer AND the name of the relative ~ Your name, the date, and your block ~ 2 images of the writer's life and/or times, including a caption under each image with the source of the image (this means you will cite the web site under the picture) ~ 2 quotes from the student's interview with the relative which reflect why the writer is the relative's favorite (include the appropriate citation with each quote) 2. An annotated bibliography with the following 3 sections: ~ The writer’s life and times (3 citations and annotations for the following): 1 article from Biography Resource Center or Literature Resource Center 1 web site 1 other print source ~ Places connected with the writer or his/her work (citations and annotations for the following): 1 map 2 other sources about places associated with the author ~ What other people are saying (or have said) about the writer's work (citations and annotations for the following): 1 book review or 1 literary criticism essay from a book or Literature Resource Center Your interview with your relative (your interviewee needs to sign your notes for proof) >> You will learn how to write these annotations during a trip to the library. >> Please label each section: “Writer’s Life and Times,” “Places,” “What People Say” and alphabetize entries in each section. >> You are ONLY including citations and annotations for these sources.
